HOME VISITS

RCSA Home Visit Program

Building Strong Partnerships. Supporting Student Success.

At RCSA, relationships matter. One of our long-standing traditions is our Home Visit Program, designed to strengthen the connection between families, students, and educators from Pre-K through 12th grade.

Home visits provide a meaningful opportunity for teachers and families to connect in a relaxed, informal setting—whether in your home or another location of your choice. These visits allow us to get to know one another beyond the classroom and to work together in support of your child’s academic journey.

Why Home Visits Matter

During a home visit, families and teachers:

·         Share hopes and dreams for the student

·         Discuss academic goals and expectations

·         Learn about school resources and supports

·         Build trust, communication, and partnership

This is not a parent-teacher conference and not an evaluative meeting. It is simply time set aside to connect, listen, and build a strong foundation for collaboration.

Proven Impact

Research shows that home visits:

·         Increase student academic achievement

·         Strengthen family engagement

·         Improve communication between home and school

·         Foster trust, mutual respect, and shared accountability

By investing in relationships early, we create a supportive environment where students thrive.

What to Expect

·         A brief 20–30 minute visit

·         Your student is included in the conversation

·         A welcoming, judgment-free experience focused on connection—not compliance

Participation is not mandatory, but it is strongly encouraged as part of our commitment to partnership and student success.

We are proud of this tradition and look forward to connecting with our RCSA families—because when schools and families work together, students succeed.
